1. Data Collection & Identity Verification
To ensure community safety and prevent spam, we require users to link a verified phone number to their profile before they are permitted to create posts or submit proposals. Your phone number is kept private and is only shared with another user if they explicitly accept your proposal on a gig.
2. Data Retention and Ephemeral Content
To maintain a fast, localized experience, posts made on the platform are inherently ephemeral. Your public posts and associated media are automatically and permanently deleted from our active database 48 hours after being published to the feed.
3. Local Device Storage
We utilize browser-based local storage to cache the local feed for speed and to remember device-level actions, such as posts you have flagged for moderation. This ensures a faster, safer user experience without relying on excessive database tracking across sessions.
4. Third-Party Authentication
We use secure third-party providers (like Google) for account authentication. We only store the basic profile information provided by these services (such as your email and name) necessary to create your account and communicate with you.
